I don't have anything against physicists, mind you, but it is awfully nice when they realize that expertise in their field does not make them an expert in mine. You know, much the same way you don't ask a brain surgeon to run the Large Hadron Collider.

As a physicist, this is funny.
When I was a grad student, there was a Nobel Laureate in the department. He had been given the award decades earlier, and it had been a long time since anyone had told him he was less than amazing. He came out with a book of poetry that can best be described as "Vogonesque".
